The creative quilts presented at Heartfelt Quilts are the work of Marie Terhune.

Marie has been quilting for the past 20 years. Her work has been featured on American Quilters magazine, and in 1990 she was the featured quilter in Sisters, Oregon. Before she began her quilting, Marie spent 25 years as a designer in New York and Los Angeles. During these years, she designed puppets, costumes, and floats for television and theme parks. She also designed lines of clothing for children and adults.

Marie's passion for quilting comes from her love of both heritage and innovation. She takes traditional quilt patterns and explores new ways of mixing colors and images. You'll see another passion in her work - her love of nature. But most of all, working with fabric comes from her heart. Each quilt is unique and filled with hours of pure joy.
