"I wanted to make a Christmas wreath quilt, using hundreds of pieces of colorful fabrics. I like to start with one pattern (the wreath block) and then design companion blocks to coordinate with it...the results are a surprise. The borders are made using a log cabin-like piecing, with hand quilted patterns in the white cotton fabric."

These blocks are machine-pieced and quilted. Then, I hand quilted patterns in the plain white blocks that are surrounded with log cabin-like piecing. |
