| "This quilt was made from patterns in Kuroha Shizuko's Log Cabin Patchwork book. It was intriguing as well as difficult to position the colors so they would blend. This is another sample of my love for Japanese style. It could be leaves in the wind or Americam paisley fabric. I like to think of it as a union of both cultures."

It is machine-paper-pieced to assure accuracy. I hand quilted it in straight lines from the center out. The backing is another quilt done in Amish style using compatible colors. |
