| "This is a charm quilt (spool shape) in which all the pieces are one-of-a-kind prints. It feels like an explosion of color pushing out to the dark border. At the same time, there is delicacy among all of the pieces, as I hope to show in the detail photos."

It is all hand-pieced in a color wash pattern blending one color into the other, then bordered with dark print charms. The body of the quilt is then hand appliqued to a black cotton damask border. It is hand quilted in the same shape reversed, causing a circle to form. Backing is a red cotton print. |
